To be quite honest, the controller was better than I expected and for driving (and hopefully flying) games, it is ideal for someone who doesn't want a huge driving setup (and most casual gamers do NOT want an elaborate setup for a couple of racing games).

While this wheel certainly doesn't compare to a force-feedback wheel and pedal set, it is a nice, compact controller that adds a lot to the xbox racing experience

That means that it will work as a regular controller with all the games you have, -even Call of Duty

My kids especially love it because they had difficulty using the controllers with their Sonic racing game, so this was a huge help for them

Not as good as a real wheel controller, but more convenient.

So take that into consideration when you say, "It's hard, the controller is better!"That being said

I enjoy driving games and the standard controller is inadequate, and often impossible to use, for these games.

You really need the advanced wheel support in-game for this controller to be any good

It's far from perfect, but it's nowhere near as expensive as the real steering wheel controllers, and it's still fun to use

The controller is also very comfortable to hold in the hand and the packaging was excellent

In the end, I really like the controller.

The controller overall is decent, I have found this to be a nice little wheel, with great control

It's honestly a great solution for driving games without the bulk, hassle, and cost of a full fledged wheel setup but better than the standard controller or the aforementioned Wiimote setup.

However, despite the lack of key buttons and a bit of awkwardness, the controller really makes racing more enjoyable.

This controller is still very much worth picking up today along with a wireless reciever if you're interested in racing on PC

I bought this for my significant other whom can't seem to manipulate a controller to drive, not wanting to shell out the money for a real wheel, I opted for this and was pleasantly surprised how well it works!

Microsoft *owes* it to all of us to re-issue this controller with all the buttons and swap out with us for no charge.

I purchased the Speed Wheel to improve my performance in the auto racing games within Xbox as I found the standard controller nearly impossible to master.

This is a great wheel controller for xbox 360 when the game being played doesn't need RB and LB buttons (right and left shoulder buttons on a standard xbox 360 controller) which most games use.

However, currently, only some driving games support the controller

Very nice controller and fun to use

There is simply no way to tune anything other than tire pressure (the tuning category which initially appears).However, if you do not bother with tuning your cars, or you enjoy simple arcade games, this is probably an ok controller, but I cannot say with any experience or authority, I'm simply extrapolating its performance in regards to actually controlling the car during a race

Memories from times when I did have extra time indicated that using a classic controller wouldn't be that much fun
