The cord on this headset goes bad very easily

when it works, it works well, but the cord is so cheap that I find myself replacing these every few months because the cord breaks inside the insulation.

The second one, despite the poor design in removing the block from the controller, I never used the cord in order to remove it and it still broke

These cords simply are terrible

Since I didn't like the headset, I cut the cord and spliced it in with my Astro A40 chat headset and use my old Astros for chat now since Microsoft never made an adapter as they promised.

I did find the long cord to be useful but cumbersome at times, and I liked the ability to adjust the height of the earpiece along the headband, which helps keep the headset from falling off most any size head

Don't pull it by the flimsy cord, oh, and speaking of, cant we just get a wireless headset like the 360
