XM XPMP3H1 Portable Satellite Radio and MP3 Player (XMp3i) (Discontinued by Manufacturer)

    • battery works great and its gonna stay that way)
    • When the ignition is off the other devices will drain the battery till it ruins both the radio and battery, getting extremely hot.
    • The battery is good for between 3 and 4 hours of continuous play when hooked up to the Sony boom-
    • Some quick googling shows that the poor battery life and battery quality seems to be a common issue with this unit
    • I'd recommend this one over some of the fancier models just because it's portable and additional batteries are cheap at Amazon

    • The batteries last maybe 2 hours and then die.
    • That battery is quite good and lasts about 3.5 hours if listening live and 7 hours or so if listening to recorded music.
    • Especially the battery drain.
    • It gets launched when you let the battery go dead or you just pop the battery out for a moment.
    • So I went back to amazon and brought another battery because I thought the battery was dead, wrong, it is the MP3 Player, it will not charge the battery, as long as the MP3 player is plug into the charger it will come on until u touch it or slightly move it, and then it cuts off
    • Just about 3 months later this player is now broken as the front dial came off.
