XM XPMP3H1 Portable Satellite Radio and MP3 Player (XMp3i) (Discontinued by Manufacturer)

    • This is perhaps the least reliable, and shoddiest-constructed electronic device it has ever been my misfortune to buy
    • The memory is also weird, you erase a recording and the device still thinks it was never erased.
    • Last, this device impressed me so well, that I bought a second one to give to my elderly father-in-law
    • The use of a wheel for menu navigation works well on portable devices (like on the original iPod)
    • These are a pretty awesome device in a compact package, originally purchased for use on a motorcycle
    • When I responded that I'd PAID FOR a new one, and a "refurbished" device wasn't acceptable, and that I'd prefer to just cancel my subscription, I was mysteriously disconnected, again
    • Bought car install kit, and LOVE this device.
    • I take this device with me like a cell phone and snap into what ever vehicle I am in
    • It also works well as a standalone device for plugging into your home stereo system.
    • While you can upload MP3s to an SD card more quickly, mine will not play them, and any interaction with the SD card slows the device down.
    • This might seem unnecessary in the age of fast responding smart phones given this device has a color display and seems latest / greatest, but this device is very underpowered in the processor department
    • This is perhaps the least reliable, and shoddiest-constructed electronic device it has ever been my misfortune to buy
    • This device is buggy and laggy as hell
    • It's very dangerous to use while driving (as are any devices, but this device particularly so).
    • I understood the limitations of satellite but when I saw this advertised as a portable device I expected better reception and figured I could rely on terrestrial signals
