Maybe I got a lemon based on the other good reviews here

I was very excited to read the mostly good reviews on this Yamaha CD player.

I was looking for a 5-disc changer that would play MP3 and WMA discs, and although this unit costs more than others with those features, it had much better reviews from users.

I just needed one for my system and this had great reviews.

I picked this model because it wasn't cheap, got good reviews for it's sound, and had the added feature of mp3 hook up.

This unit also had a great review, so ordered before Christmas.

They seemed to be honest reviews but even Yamaha, a go-to component manufacturer for me, seemed to be plagued by quality control issues.

Decided on Yamaha because of other great reviews on CD Changers that are now no longer in production.
