I thought that Yamaha sounded fine, but a little to "bright", with upper mid-range a little too prominent for my taste, and a certain un-welcome shrillness in the louder passages

I checked it out with Jazz (Al DiMeola, Benny Goodman), R&B(Temptation, James Brown), Rock(Nickleback, Pat Benatar, Pink Floyd, Alan Parsons), Blues (Eric Clapton, BB King, Joe Bonamassa, Willie Dixon), and Country( Johnny Cash, Martina McBride,) etc

Almost as warm and pure as from my vinyl recordings
