Yamaha DD65 Electronic Drum Pad Premium Package with Headphones, Power Supply, Drum Sticks, and 2 Foot Pedals

    • I would recommend this product but just keep in mind that this wont feel like a drum set and you can not hit it like you would a real kit
    • The kit still works, despite the headphones breaking (stepped on-not Yamaha's fault) but those are easily replaced.
    • The 50 available kits and percussion sets are more than enough, so I never felt the need to make up 5 of my own (maybe later).
    • The DD65 will certainly serve it's purpose, very versatile, of course not as responsive as the larger expensive digital kits
    • Many different realistic drum sounds/kits, velocity sensitive pads, pedals, and more features for us to discover and grow into
    • For the price, this kit is outstanding
    • Hitting the pads truly felt like a good electronic drum kit and you can do quite fancy fills and quick snare hits and it gets transmitted and "expressed" quite faithfully

    • This set is almost good enough for a beginning drummer, or to be a super portable kit for an experienced drummer, but the pedals are lousy, and you have to choose full sets of pre programmed drums, none of which are quite right, instead of being able to mix and match.
    • This kit is great.
    • Good middle ground between the more expensive kits if your a more casual drummer
    • It's more of a portable mini kit to take around with you where you want
    • My son (and I) really enjoy the drum kit.
    • Could it be that the Yamaha name carries higher expectations? This kit is very, very easy to use in it's standard configuration
    • If you are looking for a portable drum kit or a cheap way to get into playing drums this is for you
    • And people couldn't afford the acoustic drum kit or use this drum pad for rehearsals!
    • A decent electronic kit is too large and costly for practice
    • Great drum kit to practice or travel
    • I love this kit
    • The DD65 is a great electronic drum kit
    • I also couldn't rationalize the cost of a decent sounding kit, unless I was sure I could get my chops back
    • Yamaha and other companies sell better pedals and if you were to replace the supplied pedals with upgraded ones, then you will have a fairly nice and compact drum kit
    • Pretty awesome drum kit
    • the kit is essentially like a practice pad
    • I plug my I-Pod ear buds into this thing and can blow by ears out while everyone in the house is sleeping.
