that I haven't seen in other reviews is that the string sounds (only the orchestral strings, not the synth strings) have a lot of noise in the upper two octaves particularly on the right channel of the stereo sample.

The choir sounds are only so-so but those are my only complaints and the upside of all the good sounds still makes it a no-brainer great buy IMO...particularly good EPs, basses, good synth sounds with surprisingly good Moog sounds.

When I consider how good most all of the other sounds are and how important string sounds are to so many musicians I am dumbfounded as to why Yamaha let these samples be used.
