    Zero Time Dilemma Vita

    • The now animated cutscenes make the story bits more enjoyable and the puzzles are still great.
    • The puzzles are engaging and fun although not as varied as the ones in VLR while the story is as expansive and weird as you'd expect from the series
    • My second issue with the game is how easy the puzzles were
    • The puzzles were fun (if somewhat easier than previous entries), the writing of emotional, realistic scenes was tasteful and sincere (even if the big twist is ~somewhat~ out of no-where) and the new gimmick of fragmented memories played out of order leaves you constantly questioning every little action of that particular scene (clues are eveywhere, making for good replay value when/if you decide to play the game again.)My biggest gripe is the lack of closure for the previous (VLR) protagonist and the lack of a series tradition ~final puzzle~. I was eagerly awaiting for the conclusion of this
    • But for those already familiar with and find enjoyment in the visual novel medium and enjoy puzzles that may or may not leave you crying while begrudgingly perusing walkthrough websites for answers, I could not recommend this title more.
    • There were a few weak spots in the story, there really weren't enough puzzles, and the 3D cutscenes sometimes look really wonky (wrists and hair especially), but the game still had the twists and turns I've come to expect from the Zero Escape series, and I enjoyed every last minute of this game
    • If you are a big fan of fantastically difficult puzzles or riddles though, it does feel like they've taken a step back a bit with some exceptions
    • Other than being a great puzzle game on its own
    • An anthology of well-constructed puzzles
    • Many puzzles are reused on multiple occasions, there is a glaring lack of "final exam" puzzle room like the last two games had, certain major story beats are barely foreshadowed or explained, if at all, and from the lack of payoff to at least two plot points set up in the last game (as well as some promises from the writer being not quite kept), it's quite likely that at least parts of the story had to be rewritten
    • The puzzles are still rewarding and immaculately designed
