Feels more like an effects pedal, has all the same great features as the G1 with the addition of a looper and a large screen which gives it much more character than the simpler layout of the G1.

Another big let down for me was that you can't use the PC Edit&Share program, which means you can't change, re-arrange, or switch your settings from a computer (or a USB MIDI from what I've read), which is a super convenient feature from the G3/G5 pedals

I was mainly looking for multiple-sound effects but the looper, the tuner, and the rhythm are all nice added features especially for the price!

One great feature that I love is that you can hook up headphones to it so if you travel and still want to play in the hotel or whatever, all you need is this thing and your instrument.
