Zoom G1Xon Guitar Effects Pedal with Expression Pedal

    • One of the best features is an "autosave" option: the default is to autosave every change you make to the
    • Its a very simple Loop Station, you can't undo, but for the price it's a nice feature to experiment with.
    • I really like the looping and overdub features
    • Very good features for the price
    • Never, at this price point, has there ever been such a powerful feature ladened multi-effects pedal
    • The outstanding feature is the Drum machine and looper.
    • sounds great and every feature is awesome, you could play with just this one no other gadget needed
    • I really am enjoying this inexpensive but well featured device.
    • Feels more like an effects pedal, has all the same great features as the G1 with the addition of a looper and a large screen which gives it much more character than the simpler layout of the G1.
    • Another big let down for me was that you can't use the PC Edit&Share program, which means you can't change, re-arrange, or switch your settings from a computer (or a USB MIDI from what I've read), which is a super convenient feature from the G3/G5 pedals
    • and I actually like the features, tones and patches it has, the rhythm effects are quite good and also the looper is worth a praise
    • PROS:-great tone-pre-built patches have a wide variety without being gimmicky (very inspiring)-easy to read screen tells you what effect that patch uses.-clear, well written instructions with illustrations make familiarity simple.-compact size-easy to access a lot of variations for sounds-I could go on, many features were well thought outCONS-small size could be a problem fro some applications-unit turns on and off by plugging in 1/4" jack, so don't forget to unplug-lack of "user-written" bank-would not trust to handle the rigors of gigging (might include in gig-bag for back-up)Overall if you're considering this item, get it
    • A little difficult learning units features but learning was well worth the time.
    • Yes it is missing some features but as most people have attested to they are not needed anyway
    • I was mainly looking for multiple-sound effects but the looper, the tuner, and the rhythm are all nice added features especially for the price!
    • One great feature that I love is that you can hook up headphones to it so if you travel and still want to play in the hotel or whatever, all you need is this thing and your instrument.
    • SO far I have not seen any feature like that and doubt the device can achieve same
    • On the other hand, the G1on seems to compare very well with expensive pedals by having a whole lot of usable sounds and features at a low price
    • I stumbled upon this pedal on Amazon, the price was right, features seemed cool
    • I'm still exploring the features, and enjoying it IMMENSELY.
    • It works as it should and has hundreds of built in effects.
    • The bad: - After a few hours of experimentation, I'm still lost as how this would work in a live setting.
