Zoom G1Xon Guitar Effects Pedal with Expression Pedal

    • Alot of nice sounding effects and an excellent looper with acoustic drums
    • The looper alone is already worth the price
    • He has played with it several times and really loves the looper in it
    • The Looper is pretty good
    • The looper alone makes it worth the cost, especially since it allows you to layer on drums, basic guitar part and then leads or harmonies
    • Good and fun, lots of effects, USB powered or battery, nice looper
    • The looper works perfectly especially with the drum pattern selection
    • 30 second looper with beat machine is a steal
    • - OK for jamming by yourself.______________________________________________________________________________________________________________Looper is great for the MiniBrute (which has an arpeggiator, but no sequencer) - adds another dimension
    • The FX pedals sound great, even through an amp or headphones.- Lots of Preset locations organized in banks of 10 provide flexibility for workflow on the station- Basic Looper with 30 seconds of memory!- Basic Rhythm / Drum machine - great for practicing! The mediocre (but totally acceptable given the price):- Turning off individual FXs in a Preset can't be done easily
    • I didn't want something where I would have to spend to much money, but then again I wanted something with a nice looper, and a good amount of fun effects
    • The built in tuner works great, the looper is super fun to practice with
    • I wish that the looper could store previous loops, but the looper was a bonus
    • The looper is awesome
    • Good drum machine and looper too
    • - Simple instructions and brief YouTube tutorial. - Looper and rhythm patterns are fun, especially when used simultaneously
    • The perfect first pedal for the aspiring young player on a limited budget, and for this older player that loves the looper for jamming late at
    • Just the looper is worth 50 bucks.
    • I just love my new looper, I bought it as a looper and not as a guitar effects pedal, although it has amazing effects and presets, you can change the effects from a preset, and change the name of the preset
    • http://lullabystudio.blogspot.com/This a great looper and very easy to use, when you're using the Rhythm machine and the looper, you will hear a counting before you start recording, when you use only the looper, there is no counting before, you have to press the Rec Button and start playing at the same time, that's the only bad part, but hey for $50, it's a great looper!
    • The on-board looper is the easiest looper I've ever used, but it is also the only downside I've run into so far on this pedal in that it only records and plays back in mono - once you hear back the loop you just laid down played back, gone is the lush stereo effect you heard while playing it
    • It also has a guitar tuner, a rhythm machine with 68 patterns, and a looper - an amazing amount of processing in one box.
    • The looper was very useful, when all that I had with me was this unit and my guitar
    • Also, the looper is super easy to use with your feet and very intuitive
    • The 30 second looper is so cool
    • The looper works great, and it is awesome having the drum tracks to play along with
    • As the cheapest dedicated Looper I could find cost almost twice the price of the G1on, again it was a no-brainer
    • and I actually like the features, tones and patches it has, the rhythm effects are quite good and also the looper is worth a praise
    • The looper is awesome and rhythm has plenty of great beats.
    • The looper and drum loops are great
    • Under the hood, this $50 Zoom G1on is LOADED with functionality, and as a person who owns dozens of dedicated effects pedals, along with other modeling software and some small combo amps, I can say that while this is an unbelievable value for beginning guitarists - even more experienced musicians should appreciate it as a portable practice device and looper
    • this pedal is so much fun, lots of effects, love the looper with the ability to dub over and it arrived on time
    • Try finding a halfway decent looper pedal for under 100 bucks - it doesn't really exist.
    • The looper is cool
    • The different patches and amp clones are varied and excellent sounding, the looper is easy to use (though I wish you could delete a layer instead of having to clear the whole loop), the drum machine has way more rhythms than I expected, and the tuner is a great touch
    • I bought it primarily as an inexpensive looper.
    • Looper is not great, but if you are researching pedals and need a starting point to figure out what you want to include in a pedal board, I highly recommend this
    • The Built in Drum Beats and the 30 second Looper are valuable for tightening my Guitar Playing and the Ability to practice with Headphones Straight from the pedal keeps me jammin'
    • As for the looper, it can be a little tricky to get the exact pedal-push timing down for creating loops, but the looper itself is quite transparent and the playback level (volume) can be adjusted on-the-fly; as you can also do with the drum machine
    • It's way more fun playing with drums - percussion and the looper makes this thing worth the price alone.
