I just love my new looper, I bought it as a looper and not as a guitar effects pedal, although it has amazing effects and presets, you can change the effects from a preset, and change the name of the preset

The on-board looper is the easiest looper I've ever used, but it is also the only downside I've run into so far on this pedal in that it only records and plays back in mono - once you hear back the loop you just laid down played back, gone is the lush stereo effect you heard while playing it

The looper is cool

The different patches and amp clones are varied and excellent sounding, the looper is easy to use (though I wish you could delete a layer instead of having to clear the whole loop), the drum machine has way more rhythms than I expected, and the tuner is a great touch

Looper is not great, but if you are researching pedals and need a starting point to figure out what you want to include in a pedal board, I highly recommend this

The Built in Drum Beats and the 30 second Looper are valuable for tightening my Guitar Playing and the Ability to practice with Headphones Straight from the pedal keeps me jammin'

As for the looper, it can be a little tricky to get the exact pedal-push timing down for creating loops, but the looper itself is quite transparent and the playback level (volume) can be adjusted on-the-fly; as you can also do with the drum machine

It's way more fun playing with drums - percussion and the looper makes this thing worth the price alone.
