It is very susceptible to your hand moving around on the body while recording, I found this a issue to get used to when starting to use it as a handheld interview mic.

For example, when recording the output from a CD player, the input sounds very distorted, even though the input level is at 1 - and there are barely any levels on the meter.

DR-05 (Version 2), however, offers much more functionality within its menus than the Zoom, like a chromatic tuner, overdubbing, quick functions like splitting a track on the fly while recording, and a much more solidly built unit (for the same price)

Brilliant little recording device!I was planning on getting this as a "hold me over until I get another recorder" device, but as it turns out, it's my main podcast recorder
