The AT&T Velocity at best would show 2 bars for a few second then lose network service.

The Unite Explore for example provided faster speeds, the service consistently was less dependable than even my phone

The pamphlets that came with the unit provided old customer service numbers which no longer work and direct you to a sales scheme.

For me the Velocity's consistent service stability and long battery life makes this a must have for ATT users in need of a hotspot
