This active USB extension is the perfect solution to bypass the 16 feet USB extension length limitation, and it provides a steady transfer of data between two gadgets set at a distance of less than 32 feet
Having this extension (along with my longer HDMI/fiber optic cables) has been my solution and it works GREAT!!!

instead of an insanely hard to open plastic carded retail container.
Just needed an extension for my 5ghz wifi dongle so its closer to the router which is located on the other side of the apartment...got great signal and fast download speed over over 150mbps according to xfinity speed test...
Works as it should and was a great price for the quality
I use 35 to 50 USB cables in my "day job," and this kind of length requires special cables with some signal boosting capability
the internal adapter of the laptop can’t get the strong signal, but with a wireless Internet dongle connected to this extension, I can just move the cable around the room until I found the strongest Wi-Fi spot, even if it means across the room

that it came in a re-usable plain brown Amazon Basics box

Never been dissapointed with any of there products...and, as always, amazon stands behind all their products, what more can u ask?The cable is solid, not the most industrial strength money can buy, but for the price, its works perfect... never had a Amazon Basic cable fail yet...so i will continue to save money and by their cables... thx Amazon
The price is fantastic ($14.99 Amazon price at the time of the review); I remember not too long ago paying almost as much for a similar cable that was much shorter (10 foot or so).Not sure how much I will use this, but it sure is handy/helpful to have it available
