Reviews around condition (4.72 of 5)

  • however, it still works just not the best condition
  • I was told that the item would be received by 30-Dec-06 and I got the item on the same day in good condition
  • This one was sent via FedEx and arrived in great perfect condition unlike the other which was sent via usps and was completely busted
  • Great condition, works like new, packaging was good, it arrived early, so far no complaints
  • My item arrived sooner than expected and in perfect condition.

Reviews around quality (4.65 of 5)

  • Although the Nano does not have video capacity, you can download video podcasts that you can watch on your computer, just as though it were on Windows Media Player and then erase them as you go
  • - Sound quality is not great as compared to Sony mp3 player
  • I prefer better sound quality over the convenience of having hundreds of songs available.
  • Good sound quality, tiny and light although almost too light
  • The sound quality is superb and the size allows it to be put anywhere

Reviews around product (4.36 of 5)

  • Though I hated the originaly headphones it came with, it's still a great product.
  • If you like to listen to music, and love, as I have come to love, the convenience of podcast subscriptions, iPod is a great product
  • So it is not that I was fussy or picky or whatever, but it was a defective product
  • This is a great product, probably the best mP3 for $150.
  • In this case, Jobs ruins an otherwise perfect product with vexingly designed earphones that will not stay in your ears.

Reviews around size (4.33 of 5)

  • The great things about it are its sweet sound quality, size, graphics (for such a small screen), strength, and smooth click-wheel
  • Nice small, sleek size, no hard drive to damage if it gets dropped, and is easy to operate.
  • I started with the 4 gig and returned it for 2 gig hoping the problem was that Apple failed on the larger storage scale, but both sizes have the same problem - the 4 gig started having problems after 2 weeks of use, the 2 gig after 4 weeks of use
  • The sound quality is very good and unless you have jumbo-sized hands, it is the perfect size
  • It's easy to use, the perfect size, light, and incredibly wearable - especially with the lanyard headphones.

Reviews around price (4.11 of 5)

  • only concern is the price, they definitely could reduce it and incorprate an fm player in the ipod, rather than as an accessory.
  • The price was decent, the product arrived in excellent condition and works well
  • The caveat is that the battery is sealed and once the battery needs to be replaced, Apple is the only company that can replace it (at a hefty price of $65 US dollars) and they will not transfer your songs and photos to your new Nano (if need be)
  • I still don't like the price all that much, but you truly do get the best MP3 there is
  • Excellent choice, excellent price and on time shipping.

  • Although the Nano does not have video capacity, you can download video podcasts that you can watch on your computer, just as though it were on Windows Media Player and then erase them as you go
  • -Competitive price-Apple brand-Durable casing-Search feature is very intuitive
  • Very nice quality sound, small screen, and my favorite feature
  • Pros: well built, and nice interfaceCons lacks features, limited life

Reviews around screen (3.95 of 5)

  • Has a very bright screen, easy to see when it is dark.(But then, who listenes too their ipod in bed)
  • Pro-Battery lasts a really long timeCon-it had some scratches and the screen looked kind of odd
  • For some unknown reason, the screen developed a spiderweb crack across it, and it's now unuseable
  • The screen was defective and I had to call Apple and got a replacement
  • The screen is noticeably brighter, easily the 40% claimed by Apple

Reviews around player (3.93 of 5)

  • Long live the little nano..the best music player out there. period.
  • Last Christmas I gave her best non Apple MP3 player I could find
  • Where you choose the 2gb silver (my choice) or the colored 4gb ones, or the top of the line blackie (beautiful, but expensive), the 2nd generation nano is the best little player out there
  • Functions well, looks good, a small scratch on back, but does the job for a cheap apple mp3 player
  • The Nano, however, is the cheapest way to get a good mp3 player.

  • I am very dissatisfied with this seller, The Great IPod Exchange.
  • But on January 19th, the charger pack murdered my iPod and itself
  • My other iPod was stolen and I quickly found this one to replace it
  • Although I prefer the 1st generation look, the iPod itself works perfectly
  • This nano ipod freezes up after down loading from itunes.

  • After the second time i plugged it in to my computer it said that the ipod was damage and i would have to go to there website and refresh the dam thing
  • I couldn't find a thing wrong with it if I tried unless it's my fault (its pretty dirty). The delivery was great too
  • the thing makes me disapointed is that they seperated the color

Reviews around software (2.28 of 5)

  • I have discovered that because of the Ipod's proprietary software, programs used by the library system and some of the major on-line audio book sellers cannot be downloaded to that unit.
  • I gave this a three because the Software that is used to synch this Nano i.e., iTunes is very confusing, especially for people who use Windows a lot
  • decent.iTunes is great software compared to some necessary for other mp3s.
  • great acquisition!size is perfect, software is cool and sound quality is awesome.
  • Cute device and works well when it works, but I wasted hours and hours of frustrating software problems and still can't get iTunes working right with my

Reviews around star (1.95 of 5)

  • I've had it 5 months now and everything still works as near as I can tell
  • Although the Nano does not have video capacity, you can download video podcasts that you can watch on your computer, just as though it were on Windows Media Player and then erase them as you go
  • If there was a zero star, I'd rate it there, if we could do negative stars, that would be better due to the pricing - the price is very bold considering the unstable nature of the product.
  • Though relatively minor, the case that the Nano comes in, as well as what's included with it, has been slimmed down to the bare essentials, which I actually prefer

Reviews around cd (1.00 of 5)

  • The Digital Rights Management system used by iTunes wasn't really a factor in my purchase, as I rarely buy anything from iTunes, but instead, just rip my own CDs
  • All my favorite songs on 1 unit, and I'm not lugging around a clunky CD player.
  • In any event, you could always burn a CD from your bought playlists and re-rip them to get rid of the DRM if you want
  • This was very easy to install to my XP Pro PC - downloaded Itunes from Apple, charged up the battery, ripped a CD to the software and transfered it to the Nana...it is that simple
  • Yes, it may be a bit slow importing CDs, but it's very easy to do and understandable
