Uses data and not WiFi which is great since we are off the grid, works in the rain without going off except when there’s actual motion
The ARLO GO cameras solved the spread out networking issue we found and AT&T gave us a great unlimited data plan for all 3 cameras on one account
I’m not sure what carrier amazon sells but make sure u are clear on which carrier u want.

First, let's talk about the data plan (forget about the storage cloud space for now) free trial only gave you 15min of video
I set up this camera while it was pointing at a blank wall about 1ft from the wall so that I would be able to test out motion sensitivity etc using the free trial of 15 min of recording

Again, not a deal-breaker for me since the detection is so much better and the fact that these will be going in solo to their respective locations
Love the fact that this camera is completely wireless and therefore extremely mobile

A bit pricey, excellent resolution, easy to use and set up, would prefer to have the option of not uploading to the cloud but saving to the card and being able to review that remotely

I have the Netgear 225 minute plan (highest available) and I use those minutes in just under a month for what I use it for.
My plan is to keep them plugged in so the battery stays full (won't hurt the battery with these), then if the power and internet are cut, they will still transmit to the cloud
In fact, you could exhaust your monthly plan in less than an hour through false positive alerts
