The bass is perfect, trebel is great, and it is very comfortable
I had some inexpensive turtle beach head phones 6 years ago that had crazy bass
I absolutely love the bass and immersion you get from these, you will not be disappointed
The Astro A50, however, have amazing sound, good depth and bass, feel great to the touch, have a velvety cup that feels great on the ears, are comfortable to wear for even hours, and the charging base that charges without wires adds a great touch to make it easy to charge and also look great as a showpiece.
The sound is great - good deep bass, and the depth of the surround is awesome
but I would stick to turtle beaches if u don’t absolutely love gaming
By far the most comfortable gaming headset I've ever owned.
For an all around comfortable long gaming session with none of the mic problems i've seen written here, these are great
I mean if look at the headset price you will think gaming plus, if that is the case than you will be mostly disappointed mainly because the sound is just suited for gaming now that's not to say that movies and music don't sound good or immesive is just not the sound you think you would get for a 300 dollar set
These are great gaming headphones but they take a bit of work for the end user
If they would have just abandoned the money they threw away on terrible R&D for the charge base, they could have invested in a microphone that didn't sound awful
n’t burn battery life when I forget to turn them off when I put them down
as it stands, you get outstanding sound quality AND comfort, but you won't get some of the additional bells and whistles that would have put this in a league of its own.
Besides having great sound quality and great comfort, this headset lasts
Amazing sound and comfort if your willing to deal with the constant connection issues
The thing that made me hate this product was not the sound they sounded great
Would be a great product if they had put a plug on both ends so you didn't get bilked for $75
If they would have just abandoned the money they threw away on terrible R&D for the charge base, they could have invested in a microphone that didn't sound awful
Absolutely horrible product that came with microphone issues and didnt work well at all
If your lucky enough to have no issues then this is a great product
great!-It fits really well and distributes the weight of the headset effectively without causing discomfort to the gamer.-Completely wireless.-Battery indicator lights on the
Worked easily with my computers and my Xbox one s!!
I almost feel bad for their forum mods trying to help all the people having problems but it is a lost cause because there isn't a fix besides just sending the ---- thing back and getting a refund
It conflicts with the frequency of the headset and the base causing constant audio and voice drops, up to one a minute and the duration of the drop out can be up to 10 seconds
I have no issues in the gaming room, but if I walk out of it, it loses signal
The signal only works on a very narrow channel and band that can't be modified, causing literally any wireless router or access point released in the last 15 years to interfere with it.
Another thing is i will wear headset to go to kitchen for drink while gaming and headset will lose signal and become scrambled like literally 15
I honestly do not take care of these as well as I should, but they have not shown any sign of damage yet
The range is good but because of the 5ghz signal you can't go past to many walls my front door is 15' away from base unit and as soon as I shut the door I lose signal
Then, the other half the time, the connection to the base gives off a static sounding voice that your friends complain about
This is frustrating when I am playing cooperative games requiring accurate voice communication
People always say that I'm cutting out, that my voice is unclear, or that I get this broken robotic sound to my voice.
But then you join an xbox live party and your friends tell you sound like you're talking into a can and every few minutes my voice apparently sounds like a robot and no one can understand me for a few seconds
-The battery life is 14 hours, and you actually see a real time digital display of your remaining charge on the charging stand itself, so you always know how much time you have left-The microphone is really sensitive, there's never a problem picking up my voice and the snap up to mute on the mic always works
They are now owned by Logitech and the customer service is crap, this isn't the ASTRO gaming I once knew
Secondly, customer service is hard to get; they will try their hardest not to service your product providing you a number of things for you to try before they will even think about filing for warranty use
Worked easily with my computers and my Xbox one s!!
My customer service with the company may have been horrendous but their product, when it works, is phenomenal
Worked easily with my computers and my Xbox one s!!
Worked easily with my computers and my Xbox one s!!
The sound quality is good, the mic quality it good, unfortunately connection issues completely overshadow those positives, leaving me thoroughly dissatisfied with the product
While the headset sounds and feels great, this has horrible connection issues
Worked easily with my computers and my Xbox one s!!
NOW why I gave it 4 stars is because is sometimes has connection issues with the dock station
Worked easily with my computers and my Xbox one s!!
It has a hard reset function (thank god) which the geniuses at Astro completely forgot to include with the gen 2 headset; went through two pairs of the gen 2 after they would freeze and no longer respond to any buttons on the headset and had to send them back
To get it to barge I have to hit the hard reset bottoms and place it back on the base to charge.
If your Xbox is having trouble connecting or finding the headset hold the Dolby button and the GAME button, both located on the right earphone, at the same time until the headset does a hard reset
If they would have just abandoned the money they threw away on terrible R&D for the charge base, they could have invested in a microphone that didn't sound awful
There are a few minor issues that might bother some is the mic quality should be improved for the price, game chat does not work in destiny for Xbox, and lastly the headset needs a little wiggle to put in, but it is still easy to place and use
If they would have just abandoned the money they threw away on terrible R&D for the charge base, they could have invested in a microphone that didn't sound awful
a lot of people say the mic quality sucks, and it does for in game chat, while in a party chat I say it sounds good
Volume can go louder than needed(read reviews on other brands that the volume isn’t loud enough), sound quality is awesome
, the headset seems to drop connection once or twice upon use throughout the day and comes back quickly after; sometimes upon starting my PC the headset won't work unless I unplug the USB cord and plug it back in giving this hard power up sound you will hear from the headset so careful not to have loud volume when doing so
It is almost surreal how without loud volume the chat feature effortlessly crosses through other noises to your ears with precision
Volume can go louder than needed(read reviews on other brands that the volume isn’t loud enough), sound quality is awesome
I originally bought turtle beaches 800x, and while the Bluetooth was cool, they weighed three pounds and have l gave me such an intense pressure headache
