The 1st replacement was good, except that the E fine tuner screw slips off of the fine tuner finger
I have played nearly 20 years and have played violins ranging over $20,000.00 with bows ranging upwards to $5,000.00 - This violin set is an amazing value at this price
Overall, happy with the quality and price and my son's music teacher says it is quite suitable for his beginning level and a good value.
E string are under a lot of tension, the fine tuners on this violin are not robust enough
Some other things I've recently ordered to try to make my experience even better is a heavy rubber mute, new (cheap) but good quality rosin, and a snark s-2 tuner (because I don't trust myself tuning by ear just yet, although it does keep its tune)

My bridge was wrapped in tissue paper, and tucked under the fine tuners on the tailpiece.
The fine tuners work much better than others of this size and it was definitely worth spending more than other options in the $70 range
Inexpensive yet a full featured well sounding instrument
With a few minor upgrades this is a wonderful instrument that will provide a rich and full sound.
My daughter expressed interest in learning to play the violin and we wanted something that would balance cost with adequate playability for a beginning student (buying or renting a very expensive instrument before knowing if the interest would continue, compared to buying something overly cheap that sounded awful and might discourage her)
That being said, her music instructor has confirmed that this is a great quality instrument
Anyway its really a great instrument & at the price We can afford to purchase a new one as she grows up to a full size & never break the bank.
They came with a rigid case with double (bi-directional) main zipper, zippered accessory compartment, and backpack-type straps to make it easy for the little ones to carry.
I wanted one that would be good for a beginner, was decent quality and came with a good, lightweight case
Pretty little violin, sturdy & light case, bow holds up reasonably well.
The strings were decent quality and the free case is nice
Sometimes called a lady's violin, these instruments are slightly shorter than a full size violin, but tend to be high-quality instruments capable of producing a sound that is comparable to that of fine full size violins
TIME, ONCE THE CHILD HAS FULLY GROWN, YOU INVEST IN A FULL SIZE EXCELLENT
It should easily last 2 or 3 years until she is ready for the next size which makes purchasing this instrument far cheaper than renting.

Premier Novice Violin, 1/8 Size, is hand-carved in solid Spruce and its top, neck, back and sides are hand-carved in solid Maple
So I wonder how many of the negative reviews have this and are seriously mad over half a note?Overall, I'm extremely happy
The 1st replacement was good, except that the E fine tuner screw slips off of the fine tuner finger
The negative reviews I saw were that the rosin was DESTROYED when it arrived, which mine was
Eventually I plan on buying new strings and seeing if those also improve sound, although I find the sound fine as it is.sorry for the lengthy review, but hopefully this helps!****UPDATE****So as I said, I would come back and say how it ends up being

Second one came-with bridge some flimsy piece that broke first time my son used it.
The violin itself seems to be good quality and my daughter loves the color and it does sound rather nice for a starter violin, however the cheap plastic tail piece is failing and will have to be replaced.

This Volin is so beautiful, the quality is amazing looks like a very pricey piece, the body and bow is amazing lol
They remarked at how it was a painted toy violin made with cheap wood painted to look like ebony
The bow had missing paint
The paint was scuffed and scratched in a couple places, and the bridge was displaced pretty badly (easily fixed though)
At first we weren't t so happy with the instrument
