The built in speakers are perfect for his small intimate office and they do not overpower it, it does have an RCA output for adding more speakers and sound
The unit itself is well built and attractive

Intuitive enough that I was able to figure out .mp3 recording features within a couple of minutes, and all other functions are just like old tape deck/ record/ CD players that I used to use.

The .mp3 recording feature for records/tapes (a other key reason I chose this model) is also easy to use, but recordings are *quiet* to the point that I have to crank the volume to hear them
