Another great feature about this model is that the main output lens is tucked in deep the unit, that makes viewing the screen comfortable to your eyes because you don't get that bright side view light in your view like with projectors with the main out lens sticking out the body frame
While the speaker is a nice feature, it's not the best quality sound.

Screen controls are on the light side, I wish there were more settings, but to be fair the default mode 'bright cinema' does a good job.
And in that context, this unit does a great job.
It does a great job on watching sports, or doing business presentations.

Do not need to move away from the wall a lot to get a screen diameter of 120 inches, enough you 2 meters at most to get a Giant screen with sharp image and quality is very clear5
You can stand off to the side of the screen and the image is still amazing!
This is an excellent picture, bright, crisp, and clear image.
The picture and sound are great and, while we ordered a screen, the image looks good even on the bare wall
A fixed screen with a frame on all sides will provide a smoother viewing surface and better image quality if you can dedicate the room for it.--

The rest of the features are standard to Epson--vibrant color, compact design, lightweight, and various ports, including two HDMI.I recommend it!
But with the magnificent picture clarity and color, I will gladly figure out the bleed-over and never question the decision to go with the HC1060.
It has great color depth, but resolution is 720p, which is not bad, but not in the realms of greatness
The brightness is excellent and the color , speed, and adjustments are all excellent

I ran this projector in a pitch black room with a nice grey silver ticket screen.
In addition, you can adjust the brightness and check the hours used on the projector lamp, connect the projector to a wireless network (using an optional Epson 802.11b/g/n wireless LAN module), and setup a Split Screen which displays two inputs (i.e. PC and Blu-ray) side by side on the screen

The small speaker on the Epson isn't really useful for anything, and I just turn the volume down to zero on it

but I noticed the same problem as far using an external speaker that has a 3.5 mm input or an optical cable input
but I guess it has to be like that for the quality of the image we are talking here, smaller and lighter projectors just cant deliver such quality,sounds is not something you can rely on, and I dont expect to have a projector with really good quality speakers, its impossible or very very expensive, always better get sound from another source, any portable speaker can compliment a good huge size movie experience
Most people will use a separate sound system and never use the projector's speakers, so this projector only having one small mono speaker is not an issue
