The user interface is totally easy to get used to and it laid out in a pretty intuitive way that anyone who used an iPod can understand in 5 minutes

After you learn your way around the x3 its pretty easy to use

However, there's no great way to search and the load times are sometimes painful

Its not as good as the classic IPOD if you can find one( IPOD is way more intuitive as all apple products and won't sync with your library) but for the money this is a good way to go for sure

Don't waste your money.

Still well worth the money if you're in the market to buy a dedicated audio player

With prices soaring for old iPod classics, and a veritable unavailability of new high storage iPods I started looking for alternative DAP's and happened upon the Fiio.

I love the ability to use larger SD cards and the sounds quality is fantastic with a good set of cans

What annoys me the most is that the unit disconnects from my headphones and I lose all functionality in them after 5 or 10 mins if nothing is playing (the bluetooth icon indicates that it's still connected but when I try playing music nothing is audible).I love the size and form factor of it, however

The sound quality is very good and the ease of function is also.

If you're looking for great sound quality then I would say the FIIO X3III does that very well

Sound quality is indiscernible from my Marantz sr-6010 and MOTU traveler when compared using, jbl lsr25p, beyerdynamic, and various iems

The sound quality is top notch and blew my 12 year old IPOD Video U2 edition out of the water

Like many have reviewed pervious, this thing is sluggish as hell, takes a while to link via bluetooth, file system take seconds to appear after turning on and seconds to start playing.

As a Portable audio Player:This thing does not sound fantastic as a portable player unlike like my Cowon X7.

but to give a perfect review the device has to be much closer to perfect.

I wish I could write a good review, but I have purchased two FIIo's over a three year period and both of them broke

but they don't make the classic ipod

They asked the right questions, we tried a couple of things, and in the end, it was decided that it might be a bad battery

The battery would constantly drain even when not in use
