This makes it perfect for backpack storage...but not storage at home if you have accumulated a bunch of other bits and bobs.

Basically a protective box for storage and not so much for when your GPS is in use.

The case material is sturdy as well as the thick zipper, which works fine.

However the zipper on the case is hard to move, is really small, and is really light duty; don't think it will hold up very long under field conditions.
