It is a great beginner Ukulele, I replaced the strings with Anguilla strings as many other did and even after adding in that cost I do not think you can beat the price

Great starter Ukulele but difficult to tune - could be user

I usually don't recommend cheap instruments as starters because if they are poorly made, high action and false pitches can be frustrating

It is so much better than a toy it .A good starter instrument for her.

If you have ever thought about picking up a cheap string instrument for fun, this ukulele gets the job done.
