This is a great little ukulele and was a perfect beginner instrument!
Some folks have said this is a great beginner ukulele and I have to agree
It is a great beginner Ukulele, I replaced the strings with Anguilla strings as many other did and even after adding in that cost I do not think you can beat the price
I had bought this ukulele to learn off of- and all in all, it's a pretty nice beginners instrument
This is a great beginner ukulele, good color and condition
It's a great first ukulele and would make an excellent gift for children.
great gift i got for my little brother who loves it to death, its his new favorite toy
A great gift for anyone wanting to start learning to play.
Thinking about adding a instrument output so I can hook up up to an amp and play with my band!In short:Cheap priceReal instrument, not a toyGreat ukeLoud with a nice toneSlight sharp notes (not noticeable to a non musician)Great for camping trips if you don't want to bring a really expensive instrumentGreat for anyone that wants to try the ukuleleEasy to learn and playGreat cheap gift for any musician(no problems I've found with the tuners, they stay in tune about as good as any of my guitars)Great quality product at a great price!
My girlfriend plays guitar, so I figured this would make a great Christmas gift for her
My 3yo daughter has since been BEGGING me for a pink one, and with the durability of these, and the quality of sound, you really can't beat the price for a beginners instrument.
Daughter also mentioned that the plastic strings don't thrash her fingertips like steel strings do.
My daughter enjoys playing this ukulele and it has a nice sound.
We bought this for our 4 year old daughter as she loves to make music
Was really bummed as I was looking forward to altering it with some quilted fabric to give it some substance and padding as apparently it is just thin nylon.
I usually don't recommend cheap instruments as starters because if they are poorly made, high action and false pitches can be frustrating
i had an orange mahalo that seemed a bit better in quality and sound, I sold it to a coworker for her grandson and bought a white one, i miss my orange one, this is still great just seems to lose key a
Great starter Ukulele but difficult to tune - could be user
A great starter or just all around good ukulele it's got a great sound to it (Like all other ukuleles)
and then you can read other reviews, but this is a great starter uke.
I love the color of the ukulele and it sounds decent as well
But you will have to keep tuning it, and replace the strings once ever 7 month... had mine for a long time and still sounds butifull Good price and the color will be a little darker in the picture have fun!!
On a different note, the actual color of the uke is darker than in the picture
They love the bright colors (and often argue about who gets what color)
beautiful ukulele, nice color, came out of tune is my only complaint
The sound quality is pretty bad for a "musical instrument"
The arrived quickly and, for the price, were of good quality.
The uke has good sound quality for the price and works as it should.
the strings do not keep tuned and they have poor sound quality and so i tried changing the strings but other strings don't fit right and still sound funky
A string upgrade to Aquila strings helped significantly, but even then, the Okina still had a far worse sound quality at this price level
Anyways, I loved the ukulele I got for my friend so much that I got one for myself in light blue ^^. Great product, you would be crazy not to get this, it's great
Here is an example of a inexpensive product with a lot of quality work put into it
Be ready to tune it many times like everyone said, but this is because the strings are nylon, not because the product is faulty
its exactly what i was looking for. except it doesn't stay tuned very long, but what do you expect from a cheap product.
I definitely recommend this product if you are looking to learn how to play the ukulele as a hobby.
Strings could be better, but it's to be expected that the stock strings wouldn't sound as good as for example the Aquila strings.
One of the strings broke in shiping also :(Im having bad luck on amazon lately
Wood attached to the strings broke on the first day of gentle use
One of the gears on the back that turns when you tighten the strings broke completely on the first day of trying to tune it, definite bummer
bought this for my toddlers and they like to play with it, not sure I'd recommend for a player as it doesn't hold tune for long, if you want to play you should spend a little more on a quality instrument
Even at the first fret, the notes go sharp a little bit
The strings do fall out of tune quite a bit when you first start playing, but after about 4 or 5 tunings and consistent playing for an hour it stays in tune pretty well
OH and in the beginning of use the ukulele is a bit hard to tune and keep in tune.. but over time the ukulele sounds amazing
I'm a guitarist of 30+ years and know quiet a bit about string instruments
A bit frustrating at first since it didn't keep tuned in but after a couple of weeks of use it improved
bought this for my toddlers and they like to play with it, not sure I'd recommend for a player as it doesn't hold tune for long, if you want to play you should spend a little more on a quality instrument
He and his brother downloaded an app to learn as well as from youtube.
The ukulele itself seemed like plastic and had cheap plastic strings
We bought this for our 4 year old daughter as she loves to make music
The case is made of soft plastic and will definitely not protect the ukulele if it is dropped
