This product requires another $20 part to work with Nvidia Shield

The product is good, been using it for a while, it will work with most devices

But I suppose the manufacturer is entitled to save a few pennies on printing costs, given the very reasonable price of the actual remote

good price for a handy second remote that has learning capabilities

And to think I can buy 2 of these for the price of 1 replacement Shield TV remote is a bonus.

I'm not sure if other companies remotes work with Roku and XBox, but it doesn't matter any more because Inteset does it easily and for a great price

Also you can program the volume button pretty easily to control the sound no matter what device you're using it will turn the sound up on your television or your Sandbar whatever you want the master volume to work as that's very useful

There were 19 codes listed for Hitachi TV sets, lucky for me when I entered the first one on the list, every function of the original Hitachi remote control was already available

I checked a few other buttons and they all worked like a charm

Easy to set up, pre-programmed for Roku and similar boxes, and handy buttons to launch popular streaming services like Netflix and Amazon Video

You have to move the functions to the correct buttons yourself

I did was use the "copy" function (see manual) and now both buttons have the "instant replay" capability

This puppy has a nice heft and the buttons feel smooth and work the first time.

I used the learn feature as well and it worked like a charm

Besides the ease in programming different devices, I REALLY appreciate features like "global lock"

It has lots of buttons for obscure features like PIP.4

I love the macros feature, you can truly customize this remote to do whatever you want

I set it up to operate our DVD/Blu-ray player, AppleTV, and reciever with one or two button presses in normal use (by using the included macro feature) so that everything "just works".
