Originally I was afraid that the remote setup would not be flexible enough to have 6 devices and one shared
Setup was very simple and the auto code search worked great for each device

Just using the codes wasn't enough; you'll also need to use the learning ability of the remote to be able to use all of the main features of the original remotes but the learning setup is quite simple and works very well
First the good: it was fairly easy to set up, and works on all of our electronics (including the Xbox where we stream Netflix and Hulu from) except for our Denon DVR.
The batteries are fine as well; it's the remote that's a POS.

This RCA can control up to eight devices (including BD players) and glows as well.
I also programmed one macro which simply plays back a series of keys that you already have programmed, that works fine as well
While I'm recommending inexpensive products to stay FAR FAR away from (based on much experience) also don't waste your money buying anything made by Emerson electronics -- they're made from very cheap plastic and other components and will also stop working within days or weeks.
Both of which graciously offered to replace/refund the remote/money

This let me finally have a universal remote that could use my smart tv's home button, and I could override the default volume pass through so that my volume control always worked as expected

This product did not work and the only thing we could do was turn the player on or off.
I'm awaiting feedback from the fender about the spring but other than that I would recommend this product.
Great product, will not however program to an RCA blu-ray player which seems ridiculous.
I bought this product after reading the decent reviews but after i got it i tried payring it to every TV in my house but the remote didnt even turn on even after swaping in new bateries two times.. terrible product

The blue back lit light is very bright it lights up all the buttons feels good in my hands the buttons feel nice and the whole control feels durable and well worth the price
As others stated, the lighting on this remote is absolutely pathetic.
There's sort of a glowing light behind some of the keys, but not enough to make out what the keys are.
I would advise anyone who has found particularly the backlit light not working or other problems should contact Amazon.
The factory remote had very poor lighting and no previous channel function.
This remote is priced cheap but works well the buttons are easy to use and see
One thing of note is the buttons were hard to press when it first arrived, but they have eased up with use.
Lots of times the number buttons don't work properly, and lately the only way I can get the thing to work at all is to take one of the batteries out and reinsert it.
Super easy to use good buttons just the light isn't thorough.
