This remote works great for the Xbox but even though it is connected to my television it only controls volume and power...
Remote worked fine, but the include batteries had exploded and the entire package was covered in batterie acid
it has made my xbox easy to access and use without using my controllers (netflix, etc...) the only complaint i have is this remote works of the same wireless frequency as my HP laptop.
Great remote works perfectly, easy to setup and better than using the xbox controller.

The price was great and it was delivered even before expected
If you watch a lot of movies or tv through your xbox and don't want to have to leave your controller on or wait to have it turn on to pause the show or rewind something this is a great addition to your xbox for a pretty good price
Not a huge deal, but prety stupid designing since the 360 already has the ability to use other wireless tech
It does have a nice sleek design and feels good in your hand but that wouldn't matter since you'll probably rather use your gaming controller if your seating position isn't always directly in front of your Xbox
if this was by design then that would make it worse and show poor design.
It is also well balanced and has lots of buttons with a nice glossy design
Very sleek design and was super easy to set up as a universal remote
I would rather use my controller as annoying as that is to navigate menus and constantly take the battery pack off the back when I'm done navigating to something.

I have a samsung tv and it didnt work with it, but over all everythinig else works
It works great for controlling your Xbox, but not your TV, of course.
Think well before you buyif your xbox console has no connection to tv or netflix or something not worth buying.only serves to turn on the xboxis not practical if you do not have tv or netflixits universal control programming is very good immediately detected my LED TV but only controls channel switching and equal volume remains useless and limited
Easy to use, ships fast and it works to control my TV as well.
Was really disappointed that the only function for the tv that worked was on and off and volume no other functions works for tv all the xbox functions work.
Where the controllers work just fine since they're RF or 2.4ghz - this particular remote needs a direct line of sight to the front of the XBOX in order to work
This means that you have to have the xbox visible and line of sight for the remote to work
but you have to have a direct line of sight to the controller for it to work
The remote works great - when you have a clear line of sight to the XBOX - I have mine on the side of the TV stand and it's blocked in front by the stand, kind of hidden from view.
Works only Line of sight, can't use this remote form slight angle; it should be direct
On top of the "missing" buttons, the play/pause button combo is very strange.
I like that the new remote is much smaller, sleeker and is black like the new Xbox 360 models; however, it is missing a 'Green Button' for Windows Media
The buttons are more responsive than the old white xbox remote
It's sleek, buttons feel good and tight, and it certainly doesn't have that cheap feel the older Xbox controllers had
The remote works great but missing a key button that I used often
However, the signal is so weak that it barley works through glass
But even with the unit in plain sight, the signal is so weak even from short range that it barely works at all
The signal seems a little weak, and the buttons sporadically don't seem to respond unless you press them very hard and deliberately.
The Media Remote works well and is easy to use, but it does require direct line-of-sight with the Xbox unit as it uses IR to send signals rather than bluetooth like the regular controllers use
Given that the game controller is RF with a fairly good operating range, why market an IR remote with a really weak signal
