Regardless of this inconvenience I contacted the manufacture and they gave me a great customer services and a replacement is being provided while I send my unit back to amazon

The customer support team reached out and sent me a new cable and the Qualcomm 3.0 quick charge adapter
Free of any worries , u just have to place ur phone on the deck and it safely keeps charging

This brand boasts a 2 year warranty on their product - I have not had any issues but if they do arise I will come and update my post regarding their warranty and how easy it was to contact them
