Reviews around light (5.00 of 5)

  • The transmitter unit has a green LED light which reflects whether it is fully charged or not
  • It was fully charged and had the correct lights on and connection was fine
  • You must have the base unit plugged in at all times, it has an unbalanced 1/4" output straight to your amp, or a balanced XLR to a head unit or PA.The unit displays a soft LED halo light, which pulses red when your <30 mins of battery time in the receiver
  • Cool indicator lights, yet could be cooler if it at least had a setting and flashed a color light show mode...to sound/passing signal or something

Reviews around angle (5.00 of 5)

  • Even with the provided right angle adaptor, it just doesn't fit snugly and defeats the whole purpose of having a wireless
  • On the basses it does work on the sound & signal are great.but not being on a right angle makes the transmitter hit against your leg All Night if you plan to move at all which I Do All The Time!
  • A right angle attachment with the same muting device needs to be available for the transmitter
  • It also included a 1/4in right angle adapter, so dont buy an extra one unless you need it (see "Bought Together" suggestion from Amazon)
  • I would use one even if it wasn't necessary, because the right angle makes the transmitter lower profile, less obvious.

Reviews around wireless (5.00 of 5)

  • This wireless is excellent except that it DOES NOT FIT IBANEZ basses, specifically the SR models
  • Nice wireless, Very convenient for changing guitars on the fly ,And no batteries to deal with awesome

Reviews around range (4.59 of 5)

  • Has good range and battery life, no issues with it.
  • The sound is indistinguishable from a wired connection and the range is really good.
  • It's very simple and easy to use and has excellent range
  • Functionally though the range is amazing, the charger works great and I haven't seen any signal quality loss.
  • I think this works great for everyday play, and practice, and has a good enough range for stage play

Reviews around quality (4.58 of 5)

  • The U2 sounded much closer to a good quality guitar cable, with accurate, full range tone
  • I’ve used it and loved the sound quality and ease of use over the coarse of about five live performances
  • The sound quality is excellent and does not alter the sound of my bass guitar and rig
  • Unbelievable sound quality through a wireless connection, I just wish the jack was a little longer so it would fit my Ibanez Basses
  • You are free from a cable and the audio quality is outstanding

Reviews around product (4.21 of 5)

  • No I returned it!!!This product will not work with a any instrument pick up that has a preamp ????
  • a s a free product from the Amazon Vine programI have to say I really like this gadget, true freedom, great range, and great clarity
  • Bottom line: really nice product at a great price, BUT has one major fatal flaw
  • With a little practical engineering this is a very worthwhile product.
  • I will keep this unit and use it for practice at home (trips to the UPS store are not my idea of fun) but there is no way I will ever buy Line 6 again unless they re issue this product and give everyone who purchased them an apology.

Reviews around setup (4.21 of 5)

  • If you have more than one in a band - the setup becomes complicated and annoying and sometimes the system will not work with multiple units in one band
  • Technically this is a great system easy setup and connectivityperfect guitar sound connectionCONS

Reviews around system (4.16 of 5)

  • Other more expensive systems may have longer ranges but most people who play on stage never travel more than ten or fifteen feet from the
  • A very good, super easy to use, affordable, and compact wireless system for guitar.
  • What a great value for a nice digital wireless system you can take anywhere!
  • This is a really nicely designed system with very good audio quality, easy to use
  • I have another wireless system that was 3 times as much and this one works just as well

Reviews around freedom (4.03 of 5)

  • The wireless freedom is really nice - it makes it really hard to go back to cables!Unfortunately, there is one really big drawback to this device - the micro USB plug in the back of the base is awful
  • Have really been enjoying the freedom to move around with this
  • There is no noticeable sound degradation or latency that I can tell and the freedom to move about is so, well, freeing
  • and I love the freedom to be able to wander around the room while playing.

Reviews around cable (3.95 of 5)

  • But from anywhere even remotely close to the base station, the performance is indistinguishable from a good cable.
  • It sounds just as good as a cable and gives you freedom to move around.
  • They sound great, and are far more convenient than the G-50, but lack the ability to select a synthesized approximation of cable length like the 50.
  • But when within range, the sound was indistinguishable from a good quality cable with no loss of volume
  • The U2 sounded much closer to a good quality guitar cable, with accurate, full range tone

Reviews around sound (3.86 of 5)

  • The sound is crystal clear (with one caveat, which I'll get to), it's simple to use, and suits my needs perfectly
  • this is one great unit, plug and play, so easy, and the sound is awesome
  • I don't have to worry about pops when switching guitars (2) Nice clean sound (3
  • But when within range, the sound was indistinguishable from a good quality cable with no loss of volume
  • Sound is really clean but the transmitter battery constantly depletes for incomprehensible reasons

Reviews around g10 (3.75 of 5)

  • I've been using the G10 for practice and live gigs for the past 5 months and I love it
  • If you have a G10 and it works, consider yourself fortunate
  • I've only been using the G10 for a couple of days, but I love it, so far!
  • I play Breedlove acoustic electrics with LR Baggs pickups and preamps, and I knew from online research that the G10 needs an adaptor to work with these guitars, such as the Hosa GPP-151
  • I havent used it yet, so I cant advise if its worth it as the G10 may swing around 360deg

Reviews around unit (3.16 of 5)

  • I did read that there may be a problem seating the unit all the way into the charger
  • I like this unit because of the ease of use and the fact that you can plug or unplug the transmitter on the fly from your guitars without any noise or having to turn your amp volume down.
  • At this point I would not recommend this unit at this price.due to the craftmanship of the power/charging port
  • The unit is nice for the most part but not heavy duty at all
  • Now it's not going to a gig, I have a more expensive unit for that

Reviews around pop (1.54 of 5)

  • There is an automatic muting feature built-into the transmitter so it does not make the characteristic loud pops when the cable is unplugged or plugged into a powered-on amplifier, so there is no worry about turning the volume off to avoid potentially damaging the amp, ear drums or startling anyone
  • No "pop" when plugged or unplugged (our church appreciates that).
  • That means no loud pops and bangs when inserting and pulling out the dongle.-Lightweight, solid feeling dongle
  • Immediately there was continuous static, and a "pop" every few seconds

Reviews around bass (1.00 of 5)

  • a Squire J Bass running passive, and a Fender P Bass with preamp
  • The passive bass with tone boost is incompatible with the wireless, making a ton of noise
  • , cuz i have 2 and it sometimes gets confused, whether its the bass or the guitar.
