Reviews around price (5.00 of 5)

  • Awesome and reasonable price.
  • Great sound, good price
  • Definitely worth the price, but don't expect it to replace a cymbal with rivets.

Reviews around way (5.00 of 5)

  • great way to add some sizzle to your ride!
  • Play it any way you like cause either way, it's a great addition to your kit.
  • Great way to add texture to your hi-hat pulse...also fun to throw on your snare or floor tom to add a little something extra

Reviews around good (5.00 of 5)

  • Awesome well made bit of kit
  • I use it by itself on a hi hat stand and it is very responsive to the lightest of foot taps, and will surprise you when the dynamics pick up as well
  • I like using it on my snare and floor tom as well.

Reviews around ching (5.00 of 5)

  • This is an awesome ching ring great sound and tone when lating atop your upper hi hat cymbal highly reccomended for any kit
  • I'd go with a bigger one, or a smaller full tambourine set up if you want something with a really strong "ching" to it.
  • It gets the job done very nicely with a good ching sound and seems to be built to endure.

Reviews around diameter (5.00 of 5)

  • Would prefer a larger diameter and perhaps for the ring to not be made of metal
  • I really like the small diameter and with some modifications to a foot peddle, I am sure I can get this functioning the way I originally planned.

Reviews around ching ring (5.00 of 5)

  • The Ching Ring sounds great and can be quickly thrown on top of the hi-hat or another cymbal
  • Digging down with a harder stomp makes the Ching ring sound out like a classic hi-hat mounted tamborine
  • This ching ring is awesome

Reviews around thing (4.30 of 5)

  • Cool ching thing that changes a crappy cymbal into a useful accent instrument
  • This thing is pointless
  • This thing is so versatile... sounds great on top of cymbals, add great color and does not deaden the sound that much
  • OK, this product is being reviewed way after the fact which is most often a good thing as time usually tells all.

Reviews around effect (4.03 of 5)

  • You have to stomp to get any usable sound and by then you'll be hearing mostly the sound of it topping out on the up stroke..not a useful effect.
  • I use it predominately on my hi-hat and it gives a real nice accent to stick strokes and offers differing effects with closed/open hats or even if striking the actual metal ring
  • but I am genuinely surprised at what a complimentary effect it had on the hats

Reviews around bite (3.75 of 5)

  • The disk which the jingles attach to is quite a bit thicker and thusly more rigid than I would've hoped
  • Adds a nice bit of crispy clang to your hi hat notes.
  • Awesome well made bit of kit
  • It's a bit more compact than my Bonham-style model

Reviews around jingle (3.61 of 5)

  • This tambourine adds a nice jingle to your hihat hits and is very sensitive, but if you play at lower volumes, the sound of the tambourine can overpower the actual hihat
  • Also adds a nice jingle to your hi-hat stomp if you go hard enough.
  • This tambourine adds a nice jingle to your hihat hits and is very sensitive, but if you play at lower volumes, the sound of the tambourine can overpower the actual hihat
  • The jingles don't stay in place too well, and the jingles don't sing or cut the way I would have expected.

Reviews around cymbal (1.00 of 5)

  • It added some shimmer to an otherwise flat, dead sounding cymbal
  • Cool ching thing that changes a crappy cymbal into a useful accent instrument
  • Ultimately it just chokes out the cymbal it's placed on
