I have never played a Metal Gear game before this, but after constantly hearing how great the series is and while I was in need of a new game for my Vita, I picked it up.

Personally, I think the Metal Gear series is one of the best series out there, I loved pretty much every game in it, and just the idea of being able to take some of the best games in the series with you on the go is just perfection

I really felt like it was a port (which it is) and not an actual game, if that makes sense.

These titles are a great port to the vita; looks awesome, runs great, and the controls remain intact

The port of this game is (in my opinion anyway) the best port on the psvita, the graphics are great considering its a handheld device and the controls aren't lacking in any department

The gameplay is very entertaining and story is simply unprecedented

The only time the gameplay slows is on sections with rain, such as being outside of the tanker in MGS2.
