If you are buying for a beginner, try some out at your local music store & consider renting a bit until you know it is the right instrument for you/your child

If my child were to want to play flute this would be a very good choice - as many inexpensive instruments are basically unplayable - but this flute is up to the job, even for an advanced player

They absolutely love them, and I could not thank you all enough for this great priced instrument

You can tell it's not the best quality, but it's perfect for my rising 6th grader who just needed something to see if she even likes playing the flute

but I did notice I was able to hit the low C a bit easier on the Mugig flute than the other flute

They start out great with a good sound, but within 6 months, one of the keys will stop playing.
