  • It is better built and smaller than I expected, both good things
  • And since neither company offers much in the way of documentation, the only valuable thing I learned from either is to stay away from them both

Reviews around input (5.00 of 5)

  • I've essentially quadrupled my inputs thanks to this little box.
  • I use it exclusively in mono mode because we generally feed six inputs to it (mostly microphones) and it works great.
  • The eight inputs of the Nady MM-242 are perfect for my set-up, allowing me to route these eight lines to a stereo out to my DAW or digital multitrack.
  • However, would have liked inputs to be stereo with dual pots

Reviews around build (5.00 of 5)

  • While this is somewhat larger than I wanted, it seems well built and functions excellently.
  • it is a very solid build, and small enough to hang on a
  • Anyway, buyer beware on that aspect (9V battery works fine til you work that out) but in terms of performance and solid build - it's as sturdy as it looks in the pics and the knobs are quality and have the right amount of adjustment resistance to hold their place properly, etc.

Reviews around expectation (5.00 of 5)

  • but so far it exceeds expectations
  • It exceeds my expectations!!
  • It works in the studio as well as with my amps located in my basement.

Reviews around deal (5.00 of 5)

  • What we use on this bridge is satisfactory and a good deal.
  • My wife felt, rightly, since I already had spent a good deal of money on the BBE, that I should find the least expensive mixer possible, hence this Nady.
  • It works in the studio as well as with my amps located in my basement.

Reviews around unit (4.45 of 5)

  • The unit is so compact I'm not sure where I could have mounted the LEDs
  • And that unit was useless out of the box
  • This unit is working very well for my small mixing jobs.
  • a good unit for my liking , doesn’t have bright lights but does the job with more channel for the price .
  • As initial testing, the unit works well with inputs either from mic, guitar, TV and other musical source.

Reviews around price (4.42 of 5)

  • FOE the price and size it rocks
  • Will not return because the price is right and it seems to work for my purposes, but be warned if you need balanced.
  • Have it mixing all the pedals from the outs on a drum machine, works great and cheap price.
  • The audio signal is clear, the build quality is solid and it’s a great price
  • It does not provide AUX send nor a USB interface and it uses knobs instead of faders, but that's why it so cheaply priced, right

Reviews around product (4.26 of 5)

  • , They need make it well , how ever its very impressive product, you can simply go for it, and really value for money.
  • The product is relatively inexpensive, and does what it claims to do
  • I'm not sure who stole the idea from who, or who to blame, the dealer or the manufacturer, but I bought this item shown in the picture, and received a very cheap product that is a NADY branded version of this Artic MM2402 mixer in the pic i attached
  • Its Amazing Product, you may think i just felt love with this :), very high end out put quality in stereo mode even amp is in less volume, it most useful for stage and studio, no need with sound
  • A better product would have greater headroom allowance or pad switches

Reviews around signal (3.95 of 5)

  • If the mixer's red "peak" lights are flashing, the signal is too strong and needs to be reduced.
  • It resulted in sending a weak signal even with the master up considerably
  • I struggled to get an even mix using the Motif Inputs to receive a good signal from my Berringer UCA202 (a fine sounding little monster, if I must say so)
  • So I plugged it in, and got right to work balancing a decent signal to send to the soundman
  • It also cannot handle anything close to a hot signal, it is very quick to peak and distort the signal

Reviews around sound (3.50 of 5)

  • You will get clean, hum-free sound, and save on batteries.
  • I would fully recommend this mixer to someone that is looking to have a small portable sound system and does not need oodles of control.
  • I didn't plug it in, but with the "Nady" brand name I would expect good sound
  • You will get clean, hum-free sound, and save on batteries.
  • When this precaution is followed, the MM-242 should work great; through mine, I have hooked up a CD player, a cassette deck, an old reel tape deck, and a modern turntable, all into my high-quality Harman-Kardon/Infinity system, and the sound is exquisite!

Reviews around hum (1.54 of 5)

  • When I touch the chassis there's a nice hum (on battery power at least; it doesn't accept the industry standard 2.1mm barrel plug, and I don't have a 2.5mm plug for the power spec).
  • Many on-line reviews complain that connecting a 9 volt ac adapter causes a loud hum, making it useless.
  • My Nady mixer with the battery has a bad hum and I cannot use it
  • To avoid spending money on batteries, I went ahead and bought a standard universal ac/dc adapter which was very noisy (loud hum or high ripple dc content).
