Definitely bulky enough to block wind noise and help with clear audio capture
The first day I had it the winds were gusting at 10-15 mph and the audio that I recorded was perfect

does not fit the Takstar SGC-598 well at all, its too long and flops down into lens of the camera.
I bought it with the takstar mic, as recommended by amazon, but it can only be fit on top of the original black foam filter that comes woth the takstar mic

It was a little long for my mic but not too long, every now and again you can see a little fuzz at the top of the lense but only if the wind hit it just the right way, i always push up the fuzz before recording but its been very well!
so I'm unfamiliar with the best ways to make this fit without altering the sound quality of the microphones.
Still, this windscreen works as it should, and I'm happy with the resulting increase in audio quality.
Comments with suggestions on best ways to make oversized wind screens fit snug without affecting sound quality would be greatly appreciated.

When I need a longer mic and filming outside, this product works fine.
a little to fluffy so shows up in my screen for my camera but great product really keeps wind down

I'm sure this dead cat will work for someone, just not anyone with a Takstar SGC-598
In using "dead cat" style windscreens like these, it's better to remove the typical foam windscreen in lieu of the dead cat - you want wind protection, but don't want to lose high end response and intelligibility
