I tried a 39" TV but found the arm had trouble with that (could not find a 37" that i liked).
Don't buy cheap $20 arms - they don't last and will give you a headache
Plus within 15 minutes of installing a monitor that was below the weight threshold, the arm started to sag and has gotten progressively worse
