Reviews around chair (5.00 of 5)

  • This is a nice economical chair that will give your hands freedom to play instruments
  • It is also great to have a comfortable chair to practice in/on
  • Not very comfortable after long periods, but still a very good practice chair all the same
  • To me, the DT8500 is a solid, comfortable pickin' chair
  • I use this chair for practicing guitar and it the best.

Reviews around price (5.00 of 5)

  • All this aside I am still giving the stool high marks because it's a fair price, it does fold down with some extra dis-assembly for transport to venues and I find it works well for me

Reviews around quality (5.00 of 5)

  • Good quality
  • Great product-good quality-easy to assemble
  • As others have pointed out, they used a solid steel "L" bar that the seat is attached too and that slides into the lower assembly and is secured with two large handled, and easy to use, "thumb" screws.

Reviews around thing (5.00 of 5)

  • I'm 5'6 and would'nt mind a lower backrest, but I love this thing anyway.
  • The only thing adjustable is the height of the chair in relation to the footrests, which themselves are NOT adjustable.
  • I also played my Bass for 2hrs. without any back problem, for the price the best thing going.

Reviews around throne (4.30 of 5)

  • The throne is very sturdy and the seat is comfortable enough (seems to be improving with use)
  • I m not saying it is an awful throne, but for the price, you can get something better in my opinion.
  • The On-Stage Stand Adjustable Throne is just what I needed for my small room
  • While this throne is very sturdy, it is also ungodly uncomfortable to sit on
  • Overall I like the throne and think it was a good value.

Reviews around foot rest (3.86 of 5)

  • It would be nice if the foot rest was adjustable, I use the seat in its lowest position so the foot rest is unusable for me
  • I finally found a height adjustment that was OK but the foot rest is not adjustable and too high to place your feet
  • It would be nice if the foot rest was adjustable, I use the seat in its lowest position so the foot rest is unusable for me

Reviews around seat (3.40 of 5)

  • The seat is not cushy all the way to the outside but it works for me
  • very easy to put together and a very good seat, also height adjustment is great for tall people also
  • Seat is comfortable and the adjustments are not overly complicated, but require a little tinkering
  • The seat is hard and not comfortable, cuts circulation in your legs.

Reviews around height (3.22 of 5)

  • The foot rest is too high, Im 6' tall and when I have the chair at a comfortable height the foot rest is still way too high.
  • Everyone will find a seat height that works for their legs and the welded-in-place footrest, but either you adjust the seat for the footrest or the footrest will likely be at the wrong height for you
  • Not comfortable, and the footrest is at a useless height.
  • It is a bit heavy, but the seat is perfect height, adjustable and comfortable.
  • and once I figured out the best height for me it will stay where it is
