Reviews around condition (5.00 of 5)

  • Excellent condition and worth the wait, I can't wait to relive the childhood AWESOMENESS that was colosseum.
  • Even though the third copy I ordered was also used it wasn't scratched in the slightest, and the case/instruction booklet were in perfect condition too
  • The box and fancy box cover, the game disc, the manual, and the other bonus items all seemed in perfect condition
  • All pokemon you get are shadow pokemon that have been taken from other trainers, so this is in no way a proper 3-D version of the handhelds.
  • Game disk is in great condition with little damage; nothing worse than what you'd get from regular use.

Reviews around graphic (4.05 of 5)

  • The graphics are okay gamplay stinks but attacks can look cool but this game is hard
  • , the graphics are very nice, the music is kinda catchy, the controls are pretty easy to figure out, and it's just cool to see your favorite Pokemon in
  • The graphics to me look really cool like when your pokemon evolve
  • so I could see all my favorite Pokemon fight in incredible graphics.
  • it seem the game desiners spent more time with petty graphics than with an entrancing gameplay- meaning catching all the pokemon you want and working your way up to the eliet 4 and trying to get your pokemon to level 100 or trying to get them to

Reviews around play (4.03 of 5)

  • It is one of the grates games i have played in my life
  • This has got to be the Best Pokemon Game I have ever played.
  • It takes a while to do this but it is fun playing with Umbreon and Espeon
  • Pokemon colosseum is the best game that I have played in a long time.
  • Terrible game play

Reviews around way (4.03 of 5)

  • I miss the days of the GBA games being the only way to battle pokemon, the way not every trainer gets a Latios, or a Rayquaza, or some other UBER Pokemon on his arsenal
  • it seem the game desiners spent more time with petty graphics than with an entrancing gameplay- meaning catching all the pokemon you want and working your way up to the eliet 4 and trying to get your pokemon to level 100 or trying to get them to
  • Gale of Darkness if you want a pokemon stadium game that achieves the same things in a smoother way.
  • I got a good ways into the game, but my disc somehow became damaged and I couldn't complete it

Reviews around lot (3.70 of 5)

  • And yeah, Entei is awesome, but as someone who loves a lot of Fire Pokemon, I was sorely disappointed in how few Fire types there were
  • That being said, the music seems to get uncomfortably loud a lot, forcing me to turn down the T.V.'s volume moreso than I do for any other game.
  • but then when you purify them they gain a lot of EXP and maybe even make them evolve
  • We were looking forward to this for quite some time as my son and I own and love all the other Pokemon games (as well as a whole lot of others
  • Aside from the great adventure mode, there are lots of colosseum battles as well

Reviews around thing (3.40 of 5)

  • The only good thing: Collecting and purifying all of the shadow Pokemon, then beating Mt. Battle in Colosseum mode gets you a fun suprise, a level
  • The only thing I didn't like was that you could not change the way you view things there is only one angle in the playing mode.
  • Most screenshots available are quite weak presentation-wise, but take it from me: the Snag Ball explosions, the Hyper Beams, Solar Waves, Shadow Rushes (the only attack a Shadow Pokemon knows, until you restore it's former life), and all other things look absolutely stunning
  • Well 1 good thing is that you can get your old Joto pals (except Lugia) to your gameboy advance and rasie them with your
  • Another thing I'd like to note is that all battles in Story mode are double battles (where you use 2 pokemon at once), which isn't nessearely a bad thing

Reviews around music (3.35 of 5)

  • The music is like nothing you'd expect in Pokemon, but it's very memorable, and will stick with you
  • This brings pokemon to the GC with better grapics and music
  • The music is very good, the best I have heard in a Pokemon game
  • Sometimes the music can get very annoying and boring
  • And if u miss it u cant try to catch it again and that means no ho

Reviews around story (3.32 of 5)

  • Positive:+ great story+ the first true Pokemon adventure in 3-D+ Colosseum mode is pretty extensiveNegative:- things just take a little too long sometimes- only 48 shadow PokemonPokemon Stadium had been Pokemon's only foray into the wonderful world of 3-D before 2004, when this game came out
  • The story remains at least a little engaging throughout, but it really bugs me that the main character doesn't say one single word in the whole game
  • In short, I would recommend this game to Pokemon experts and newbies alike because it's just got a neat story.
  • But since you can steal other people's pokemon and open their hearts, it gives the game a fun new twist!Story-9/10: Greatest story yet
  • In all the preveiws it looked really fun, but it was really very slow, the story was hard to follow (maybe because I wasn't really paying attention) and you are very preshered to catch every pokemon because you always think, 'OMG

Reviews around pokemon colosseum (3.09 of 5)

  • Though I don't have a GameCube, I can say that Pokemon Colosseum is really, really, really fun to play
  • And if u miss it u cant try to catch it again and that means no ho
  • Pokemon Stadium was great, but not as good as Pokemon Colosseum
  • With great graphics, cool music, and more, Pokemon Colosseum is the best pokemon game yet!Graphics-8/10
  • Pokemon colosseum is a nice game, but once again I'd like to bring up something important about this game!Much like Pokemon stadium, there seems to be alot of strange coincidences within this game

  • The best pokemon in the game are your starters, espeon and umbreon
  • so I could see all my favorite Pokemon fight in incredible graphics.
  • Other than that it is a great game and I would definitly reccomend this to anbody who like pokemon.
  • There is no wild pokemon to catch and you can only train your pokemon by battling the same trainers over and over
  • Also you can't catch wild pokemon only snagg pokemon from trainers

  • Disc didn’t work work and came with no case or anything else
  • All pokemon you get are shadow pokemon that have been taken from other trainers, so this is in no way a proper 3-D version of the handhelds.

Reviews around shadow (1.69 of 5)

  • The shadow pokemon you can "snag" add up to a total of 48!!
  • All pokemon you get are shadow pokemon that have been taken from other trainers, so this is in no way a proper 3-D version of the handhelds.
  • Snagem and Cipher, who steal Pokemon and turn them into evil "Shadow Pokemon".
  • With the help of a companion who can see them, you must snag corrupted "shadow" Pokemon and "purify" them by using them in battle
  • The evil corporation Cipher has made some Pokemon evil (shadow Pokemon) and it's up to you to stop them and snag as many of the evil ones as possible, bringing them back to normal along the way

Reviews around guy (1.69 of 5)

  • The pokemon voices are great too, and there's no annoying announcer guy either.
  • You mainly steal Pokemon from the bad guys, but it is alot of fun cause you have to battle with alot of Pokemon and purify all your Shadow Pokemon
  • He better watch out,Cipher makes past enemies like,"Team Rocket" look like what they really are,Over-the-top saturday morning cartoon bad guys
  • You play as that strange, grey-haired guy on the cover and have an annoying red-head follow you around that identifies "shadow" pokemon
  • The Generation 3 guys look rather smooth however

Reviews around concept (1.54 of 5)

  • The whole concept of "snagging" pokemon from trainers, and then purifying them is a little lacking, and doesn't work as well as catching wild pokemon
  • I purchased Gale of Darkness several years ago and fell in love with the odd concept (compared to normal Pokemon, at least)
  • , true pokemon has been overmilked, overused and annoyed people to the next century but the entire concept is quite good, in this game you actually have a 3D pokemon adventure, which is not bad at all however the graphical capabilities though not bad in any way seem slightly lackluster in comparison to higher end Gamecube games, overall this game is pretty solid but don't judge it by the idiotic franchising, so far only the pokemon videogames and a single comic series (Pokemon Adventures) have been good, no one can deny how great the first 2 games were, though slightly repetitive in the newer ones they are still quite nice, the TV show is aimed at 5 year olds at this point and to older viewers it is REALLY dumb, and it really isn't that good, but still if you ignore the franchising and badly made pikachu dolls and whatnot and get right down to the

Reviews around organization (1.00 of 5)

  • You face off an evil organization called Cipher and they turn the pokemon into shadow pokemon
  • ) only Pokemon Trainer who snags Pokemon--but your "snagging" is for good reason- to save Pokemon from the evil organization
  • You are a member of Team Snagem, the evil organization in Orre, the region of the game
  • In the opening fmv, he blows up a criminal organization's building (Team Snagem) and then flees with their device, the Snag Machine (let's you steal pokemon from other characters).
  • He is a member of the evil organization CIPHER, who was earlier using Team Snagem to capture Pokemon to turn into Shadow Pokemon

  • Without the presence of gyms and badge collecting, as well as freely catching as many Pokemon as you choose, some fans might feel a little strange and upset while playing this game
  • you are a die-hard pokemon fan and you feel you must have this game then rent it first
  • So to sum it all up, Colosseum should disappoint no Pokemon fan

  • I purchased the product and it was fake modded copy of the game wouldn’t recommend buying
  • Every copy i found was always so expensive so when I came across this I was excited

More about Pokemon Colosseum

  • Product Description Follow the scent of a mysterious organization that has been turning Pokémon into Dark Pokémon
  • Play in full adventure mode with a storyline, or in tournament battle mode. Review If Pokemon had been around when I was 10, I would have been that crazy kid on your block who lived and breathed Pokemon in all its forms
  • However, the days that this would have interested me have passed, and I can only see this game for what it is: a shining example of working just hard enough to keep a franchise alive
  • The game isn't glaringly sub-standard, but there was little effort put into innovation or moving the series forward
  • Colosseum is essentially two games, a Story Mode and a Battle Mode (which resembles the N64 Stadium titles)
  • The plot of Story Mode is surprisingly dark and it would have been great for a 30 minute television episode; but, it doesn't really sustain a 30 hour RPG
  • You control a sort of anti-hero who steals a valuable accessory from the evil organization he is working for
  • It turns out that this item allows the wearer to snag Shadow Pokemon (which are Pokémon who have had their hearts sealed and who are generally ornery and unpredictable) away from their masters
  • It's a good thing that this thievery is encouraged, because in the barren wasteland setting, it is impossible to go out and collect Pokemon from the wild
  • Instead, you pump up your collection by stealing other people's monsters, gradually opening their hearts, and then having them fight by your side
  • The absence of collecting in the traditional sense might come as a shock to those accustomed to the handheld RPGs, but the Battle Mode is as familiar as can be, with several types of matches to fight against the computer or your friends, providing they have Game Boy Advances
  • Connectivity is a big aspect of Colosseum; not only can you hook up your GBA and import your collection from Ruby or Sapphire, but you also need it if you want to play multiplayer Battle Mode
  • If you and your friends are pumped up about battling each other in the arena, though, odds are that you already have GBAs and nearly unbeatable Poke battalions from the previous games, so this requirement might not be too much of a drawback
  • What is a drawback, however, is the ridiculously low level of challenge
  • Now, I understand that the game is geared toward younger players, but I was at least five hours into it before I got to a battle that didn't feel like it was set to "tutorial" difficulty
  • For a world where practically everyone trains Pokemon, there sure are a lot of awful trainers wandering around
  • The fact that my victory was assured before the battle even started just made me lose interest even faster
  • If you're a fan, you'll love the premise, the gameplay, and the overwhelming number of little critters to collect and bend to your will
  • Even though none of these elements are so astounding as to bring outsiders into the fold, the franchise's debut on the GameCube (Pokemon Channel doesn't count) is a trainer's dream come true.Concept:Bring the two reigning genres of Pokémon games together under a single title Graphics:The environments are dull, but the creatures look as round, bouncy, and cuddly as you ever wanted them to Sound:Pika Pika? [Translation: Where are the cute little noises everything used to make?] Playability:Select commands from a menu
  • Repeat until bored Entertainment:Hours and hours of fun for current fans only
  • No others need apply Replay:High Rated: 7 out of 10Editor: Joe JubaIssue: March 20042nd Opinion: In all honesty, Pokemon Colosseum is what fans have been asking for at every opportunity during the last few years
  • The problem is that we got what we asked for, and I for one don't like it all too much
  • What was once a handheld RPG with the gotta-catch-‘em-all hook is now a bland and (because of the Game Boy editions) predicable trek that would look more at home on the N64
  • While some attack and environmental effects are nice, others are embarrassingly bad
  • The game also features a sadly mixed bag of sound – your critters and the townsfolk offer nothing more than beeps, but the score is painfully perky and overdone
  • Fans will and should pick this up
  • But many old devotees will be disappointed because, at best, Colosseum feels like a sad shell of the franchise's glory days and at worst, a poor example in the RPG genre
