Anyone whether young or old will appreciate the graphics the twisting story and the game play

I have always liked Mario games and this one has some great graphics and some really innovative and fun levels.

This was most likely a smoke-screen to diguise the poor graphics

Well the gameplay is definitely awesome, though difficult in some places, but the graphics are lacking and the controls are difficult to master(mainly due to the annoying camera.

Far from horrendous, the camera in Mario Sunshine is largely controlled by you, but given the complex 3-d platform elements in the game it was only a given that your view would be obstructed here and there and probably more than you will like

The graphics are not as good as Galaxy, of course, but I thought that from the neat worlds down to the music was fantastic.

All levels are south pacific themed so no cold cold, lava or snow worlds to explore like in SM64..

The game is around Mario being accused of destroying the landscape around Delfino Plaza, and all the other sevral worlds

Now, I've found myself missing being on Isle Delfino and all the gorgeous colorful worlds and catchy music!The graphics and gameplay are amazing

There are 120 Shine Sprites that you have to collect, meaning it's a VERY LONG game

Mario's punishment is to clean up the island, and restore it's power source the Shine Sprites

The game itself was in good condition, aside from a few minor scratches and wear-and-tear damage on the box, the game was great and it worked beautifully

The only real problem that Nintendo has is its lack of advertising, and its reputation for kiddy oriented games... like Mario Sunshine

A bit of new spice to the old winning formula, Super Mario Sunshine is worth your fifty bucks, and will go down (i think) as one of the classic Nintendo games of all time.

And Super Mario Sunshine--this game has a solid concept and Nintendo has done a great job of polishing the final product

You have to climb a fence that you can punch to get to the other side of it, a la Super Mario World from Super Nintendo and Gameboy Advance

It means you are trying to apply 2D physics to a 3D environment, which leads to annoying gameplay and contantly falling from the level

I'm hugely disappointed by this, and it has led to hours of frustrating gameplay - it's clearly been designed with an experienced gamer in mind, cos' beginners just wouldn't stand a chance.

The graphics aren't great, the music is... just there, and the gameplay ranges from funnily easy to insanely difficult

The sound effects are top notch and, as in any Mario game, the music is catchy, memorable, and excellent

The levels are extremely well-crafted and fun to play around in, the graphics are incredibly colorful and fresh, and the soundtrack is a whole new selection of memorable Mario music

After cleaning up the airstrip, two Pianta (Natives) officers arrest Mario and sentence him to clean up the whole island

The natives mistake Mario for this shadow character and order him to clean up the island

Mario is blamed for the pollution, and is forced to clean the entire island by whatever means possible

In Super Mario Sunshine, paradise turns into a public relations nightmare when a beloved Italian is falsely accused of dirtying up an island resort with ugly magic gloop, chasing away the island's magical Shine Sprites and making things dark and dirty for vacationers everywhere

I recently bought Mario Sunshine and at first I didn't like the game because i didn't really understand what to do

Overall, SUPER MARIO SUNSHINE is a gem of a game that would make an excellent addition to all GC libraries

the play control feels a lot like super mario 64, which is a good thing since super mario 64 was the epitome of what a good 3-d game should be, but it doesn't play exactly like it's daddy.

I recommend this game to any platform-game lover, and to anyone that enjoys figuring out many, yet easy puzzles whilst you explore a massive world of incredible gameplay, graphics, and sound.

The puzzles are fairly simplistic so far but the obstacle courses are intense

But otherwise it is a solid game with great sound, puzzles and graphics that will keep you occupied for months

Mario uses his water backpack for shooting the bad guys, flying for a short distance, rocketing up into the sky or running really fast.

This is a new start for the Mario franchise being that Bowser or any of the other bad guys we were used to are not in this game

For those of you who seek difficult stuff, at least make sure the controls are well-developed and do what you request of them.

Charecter ability's was a good new ability, while difficulty was a down point.

Perhaps the only semi-weak point, at first the control is a bit loose.

Overall:Despose the very minor negative points in this game, and while it may not be for everyone, give it a go

game gets to title menu, you make a save file, then suddenly the disc is unreadable

I remember buying two Super Mario Sunshine discs on purpose

Only flaw was that the disc had a few minor scratches that sometimes prevented you from playing an area, and you had to go back to your last save point because of this.

Not to mislead you however, this game is still highly recommended and worth buying; I only knocked off one star because of the missing magic.
