I'd been looking for a stand like this for over 2 years, and most of what I found was unstable, unwieldy, and shoddy build quality

It is very sturdy, rated at 110 lbs load, and uses cast metal rotary hinges that actually support the full rated load.

I love the whole idea of it see one drawback: when picking it up on the sides it hurts my hands because the metal is so sharp.

I guess the only con about it is the cold metal when it touches my naked skin in bed can surprise you even if you are ready for it.

Has some very sharp metal edges, right were one would put their hands if they need to move or adjust it

Competing products like the Pwr+ are very flimsy and wobbly in comparison

I had to put some papers at the edge to elevate the laptop a bit since it makes it easier to lift the laptop away from the stand

It's not easy to quickly adjust, in fact it is a bit of an IQ test the first few times -- but this is a great little table.

This raiser, however, is all metal, with the exception of the rear leg ends which are hard plastic, I suppose to prevent scratching the surface the raiser is resting on, and perhaps to increase friction at the rear

The very end of the legs appear to be rubber or grippy but it is a hard smooth plastic
