Good quality, great rebound and the thinnest ones I can find

I realize that many drummers use 5a sticks for rock and either 7a or 11a for jazz, but if you are in the small minority like myself, this stick will noticably improve your speed

They give you fantastic speed, and the nylon tip will add a little volume to your playing so you really don't have to strike the cymbal as hard as with a wood tip stick

Other sticks you may want to explore if you primarily use 7a are the Joe Porcaro signature stick by DRUMS IN THE WIND (lite maple with a diamond-shaped nylon tip for intricate cymbal work).

Regals always had that great shiny grip finish and are so light in the hands

I may use the Regal Tip Jazz for playing gigs (they are slightly larger than the Combo, but still too loud for the boomy acoustics of the room we practice in) for fear that I will be virtually unheard in a gigging situation where all other instruments are turned up louder than rehearsal in order to fill the club/bar with sound, but for rehearsals this is for
