I had a little trouble with getting the backing off, to the point that I had to take a knife and carefully cut into the paper backing to peel it, after slightly fraying the edges of the actual pad in a failed attempt to peel it beforehand, so I knocked off a star for that, but other than that, it's working great on my Roland kick pad

Let me just say that replacing those heads are painfully expensive and I've had to replace several in the last year

Ive always use this for my kick, saved money coz the head is protected from tearing without altering the sound
