Amazed how many sounds that you can get out of it for the price paid.

The sound is great through the headphones and the sound to the outside world is minimal.

This drum set really has a great sound that's second to none.

Then you get the 3-zone snare pad (which I've bought and like), and a real kick pad (you need to buy a real kick pedal but a $50 Yamaha model works great), and an adjustable hihat pedal

The pads are nice & responsive to drum sticks and adjustable sensitivity lets you get some real dynamics to your recorded MIDI (unlike punching notes in one by one).The kick and hihat pedals are really not terribly good however

I'm not a professional, but it seems like the perfect set to get my husband back into drumming

I didn't want to spend a fortune on a top-line electronic kit but didn't want a "toy" either

Solid construction and nice responsiveness

It's a nice practice set and useful for a beginner-type player.
