  • I would recommend the JANSANE PL2303TA USB to TTL sold here on amazon because I know it works and a very good value at 3 for $10!), download the free software from the company, connect to your pc or laptop and you are good to go.

Reviews around driver (5.00 of 5)

  • I would first plug the USB TTL dongle into your computer's usb port and let your pc load the proper driver and set the speed in the device manager.
  • It might also help to restart your pc after the correct driver is installed when you plug the dongle back in.

Reviews around manual (5.00 of 5)

  • The main downside is the lack of a decent manual for the software but sometimes non-English speaking manufactures have trouble with English tech manuals.

Reviews around board (5.00 of 5)

  • It is mentioned that the board is Arduino compatible, so in theory it could be made into a one piece unit by adding an Arduino, display, etc

  • (and yes, I have many Arduinos, can easily program, but you don't need to do this to have a very nice analyzer for a great price).

  • I just wish they made the board from a higher frequency unit available (at extra cost to be fair) since this one only goes to 30 MZ.
