My only nitpick is that the cable was a little awkward sticking out of a laptop, so I got a right-angle 6' USB-C cable for it, which helped a bit.

Comes with two cables, one USB-C to USB-C and one USB-C to USB-A .Works like a standard hard drive, you can partition it as you like, I made two partitions, one formatted to ExFAT and the other to NTFS.
