T-mobile stores charge about $20 for this exact kit, so half price is a good deal
Prices with T-Mobile have risen so it's not as great a deal as it once was.

I activated it successfully with T-mobile $30 monthly plan with 100 min talk, unlimited message and 6g 4G data

The plan I chose is prepaid $30 a month, 100 minutes with unlimited texting and unlimited data with the first 5gb up to 4gb speed (I don't know how much they throttle past that, since I've never gone past it)
This cheap T-mobile sim sold here is the same exact thing, all they had to do is activate it
I then found out about the $30 plan T-Mobile offers which includes 100 minutes, 5G *unlimited data, and unlimited texting

After going to their store and being offered plans no cheaper than $30/month, I was able to get a $3/month plan by using this (Pay As You Go).
This worked perfectly to add T-Mobile 200mb free plan to an iPad.
I was able to get a fairly priced plan on a great network.
At $3 a month, it's a great cell phone plan for those of us who rarely use our cell phones for making calls.

The sim adapter turn out to be useful later on since it worked with any T-mobile sim card.
I got an expired sim card and was unable to activated and could not get a refund.
The SIM was very easy to install, and it worked like a charm and allowed me to take advantage of a great phone rate plan from T-Mobile!
Several bad sim card sent very bad product finally able to get a refund in return

We purchased this sim card on Amazon, put the sim card in the new S4, logged into our online T-mobile acct and entered the sim card number and the new phone was ready to go.
We bought a new T-Mobile Galaxy S4 on eBay and needed a micro sim card (the old HTC Amaze phone had the larger size sim card).
No problems using the phone on both networks- just have to switch the SIMs.
It was time for me to update my SIM card, because my phone had become so very slow with all of it's Internet functions.
As it turned out, my phone was not working, and this card works fine in my new phone.

WORTHLESS if you need to use Wi-Fi to make calls (poor/non-existent cell signal).
Lo and behold the phone connected, though with a poor signal.
