While smelly, construction quality, while not fancy or polished, feels at least as good as its price
Any brand that works well at the right price, I'll buy it.
Although I am not tuned in to the intricacies of audio listening, I can say with great confidence that these headphones are pretty good for the price and should make anybody who is looking for a reasonably priced alternative to earbuds pretty happy.

While the sound is wonderful, they are niot too sturdy (thin cord and poor attachment).The Tascams have a good range.
They have a sturdy coiled cord, well constructed solid and flexible pads, seem to be built like a jeep.

I can hear string attacks, counter voices in woodwinds and an increase in overall spaciousness with the TH-2000-S that I simply don't hear with the Sennheiser phones
The TASCAM TH-2000 Headphones are a fairly inexpensive and decent sounding set of closed headphones
I have a really nice set of Sennheisers and I will definitely be going back to them and probably using these when I travel.

When they do stay on my head, the headphones easily become uncomfortable to wear after about 30-45 minutes.
I believe these are decent headphones for the price, but only if you like a heavy bass sound.
