It works exactly as expected - we can even hit the remote from inside the house (about 20 feet) and it works just fine.
Works just as expected with LED 3 prong string light set from Costco
Works as expected but I have noticed a bounce in power when I activate the remote that shows up as a noise in the powered speakers I have plugged into the receptacle.
This is not a consistent problem and in general it works as expected and I would recommend it for people wanting a little convenience for certain products.

This works well and seems to have a decent range however, just be aware of this one note.
Not only that, but I tested the range and found it reached out to just over 250 ft! Keep in mind that this is open-field range with no obstructions, so if you have any metallic obstructions in the way, the obstructions may reduce the range significantly

Poor quality, spend a few dollars more and get something better.
