Reviews around value (5.00 of 5)

  • This guitar has a very good bold sound and build (excellent value),
  • This is a good guitar and you'd be tough to find a better value than this one.
  • Great starter guitar and a great value for guitar under $200.
  • This is just a phenomenal value guitar at this pricepoint.
  • In my opinion the neck design alone makes this the best value guitar available

Reviews around finish (5.00 of 5)

  • The satin finish on the neck is really nice and never seems to get sticky, even when you let your knucklehead friends play it.c
  • Sounds like a much more expensive guitar, and it plays well, and is finished well.
  • The finish is excellent throughout and it sounds superb

Reviews around size (5.00 of 5)

  • Also as a concert size, it really makes the notes pop in fingerpicking (get the full size if you prefer strummimg), which is what I'm playing around with at the moment
  • This guitar is the perfect size if a regular size guitar is a little to large
  • Great feel and perfect size to take anywhere, real beautiful color and is gorgeous
  • And just the perfect size for anyone not to big but not to small;) I highly recommend
  • Don't misunderstand me when I say small body , it's full size.

Reviews around build (5.00 of 5)

  • You can't go wrong if you want a cheap guitar with a good quality build and sound.
  • It has its own volume and tone controls with a graphic equaliser as well as a built in tuner

Reviews around price (5.00 of 5)

  • Good price for a descent guitar, build for tiny people.
  • I got this guitar just a couple months ago, not knowing much about guitars and not really knowing much about quality or anything I did a lot of research about what would be the best purchase for the right price for a beginner guitarist.. and I stumbled upon the Yamaha FG700, Fantastic reviews and ratings for beginners with great overall quality and overall sound, especially for the cost

Reviews around action (5.00 of 5)

  • The sound is not as great as from a big Martin or Gibson acoustic, but it is ten times less in price, and the guitar is very easy to play.
  • I picked it up, tuned it up, and as soon as I heard the sound and the nice low action of the strings, I was not going to leave the store without it
  • After those adjustment, the action was great (with no fret buzz) so I did not need to touch the saddle.
  • The action is very good for an acoustic and the neck is very comfortable

Reviews around thing (5.00 of 5)

  • I'm not a pro guitar player, but to my musician's ears, this thing sounds very beautiful
  • The reviews weren't wrong, this thing is worth more than the asking price
  • Hoever, all things considered, I like this guitar more and more as the weeks go by, much better than the Breedlove, which retailed at about $800, although the Breedlove does have electronics.
  • A great guitar to work things out on because it stays in tune, I can set this up with a Peterson strobe tuner within a few cents and it holds sometimes for a couple of days even after playing it hard

Reviews around neck (4.26 of 5)

  • It should be fine for a wide range of players, (Personally, I prefer a huge fat neck but that's not an option down at this end of the budget.)
  • The action is very good for an acoustic and the neck is very comfortable
  • It should be fine for a wide range of players, (Personally, I prefer a huge fat neck but that's not an option down at this end of the budget.)
  • Frets are all properly set, no sharp edges, no buzzing, the Nato neck is fine
  • The neck feels good, the intonation is OK up the neck, and the playability is great.

Reviews around bass (3.86 of 5)

  • It has a big fat bass sound compared to other guitars I tried in this price range
  • The sound is not as great as from a big Martin or Gibson acoustic, but it is ten times less in price, and the guitar is very easy to play.
  • Clear, loud (awesome projection), with a nice ring and good clean bass.
  • This guitar has more volume than my Breedlove Atlas series guitar, and a brighter sound with a good bass response
