yes you can get other headphones for a cheaper price and better sound quality but when you have these you're the cool-cat.

No, i am not a Bose lover so there are the Audio-Technica ATH-M50's that have phenomenal sound and do have a fit just like the Beats Mixr

Because of that, there will be a lot of biased reviews from audiophiles who hate Beats

Beats are infamous for their overpowering deep bass, but the bass is not overpowering at all with the Mixrs

The Beats were obnoxiously loud at full volume in my opinion, and I have almost blown out my friends eardrums while putting them on at full volume

I personally find these to be the best sounding Beats on the market.

-1 star for the extreme clamping force, -1 star for being slightly overpriced (by at least $50-$100).

the ear cups do not flip outwards, the top ends (treble) can be a bit more clear and overall the sound can be a little more sterio.

If you want a bit tamer version that is a bit more comfortable, try the Solo 2.

My coworker warned me that the band was a little flimsy, because he had broken his earlier, but I figured I would be careful

If you wear glasses they will hurt your ears like bloody murder after about 15-20 minutes

I have to say that although the sound quality seems better in the Beats Mixr, I find myself wearing the Monoprice headphones because quite frankly they don’t torture my ears.
