The adhesive does not seem as sticky as other command strips I have purchased.

I have never had a failure when I've done that and paid attention to the weight limits posted on the packaging.

They hold things extremely well, and when you do decide it's time to move things around or take them down entirely, you just pull down on the strip using the little non-sticky tab, and it stretches out until it just pops off the wall without leaving a mark or taking paint and plaster with it!Five stars

You can never have too many of these quality strips if you hang frames and want to keep them level
